Real pioneering country in the automotive industry, Germany also plays a big role for Astemo Europe. Besides the European Headquarters, near Munich, fostering Global Functions and Engineering teams, Germany counts several Astemo sites. The Espelkamp site, in the North of the country, is specialized in aftermarket activities. In Saxony, the Rosswein plant, is producing high pressure fuel pumps, counting over 270 employees. The Frankfurt office, in Rüsselsheim plays an important role, being a hub for Purchasing and Procurement departments and Engineering teams. The Heilbronn site is a Sales and Development Center for disc and drum brakes, as well as automated parking brakes. Located in the Munich suburbs, the Ismaning site is specialized in the motorcycle industry : with a strong Japanese identity, this site fosters Sales and Engineering functions dedicated to the motorcycle industry. Last but not least, seneos GmbH, part of Astemo since 2020 is located in Cologne and specialized in embedded systems software.
