I’m an Engineer specializing in system testing for inverters and electric motors, and I serve as the Chief Electrical Specialist at our testing facility in Germany. I’m responsible for planning and executing tests that meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements both on time and to specification. I also support new projects during the RFI and RFQ phases by analyzing system requirements to help guide early-stage decision-making. I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on automation and energy technology.
I am working on the development and improvement of electromobility solutions such as high performance and high efficiency inverters and electromotors for vehicles. By conducting suitable testing and calibration, we aim to reach the best possible physical efficiency which leads to the highest possible driving range to save resources. These systems are used in electric and hybrid vehicles.
Our rigorous testing helps improve efficiency so that we can achieve the highest possible driving range with one battery charge. Our goal is to push electrification to the next level by quick charging and reducing the calibration and testing time, among other measures. Our customers, and ultimately their vehicle buyers, desire these advanced mobility solutions.
In Astemo Europe, almost everyone speaks an additional language besides English. This is a strong argument for diversity. It allows us to profit from every potential talented view in the market, and with that propose different solutions for the same technical problem. In my case, I am both Moroccan and German. I am a native speaker in two languages and fluent for business purposes in two others.
