Job Description
Build quality into the product from the upstream of development and deliver it to the world.
I am in charge of quality assurance for the development of inverters for electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles. We create safe products through repeated processes such as preliminary verification by computer, experimentation, analysis, and evaluation of developed products, and identification of issues.
In the experiments, analysis, and evaluation of developed products, we will check the actual products in the test room, discuss with members of design and development and production technology from the perspective of quality assurance, and proceed with initiatives to solve problems.
Since inverters are a combination of complex and advanced technologies such as machinery, materials, electrical and electronic equipment, and software, there are a wide range of causes of failure. As a result, it is necessary to work together with various departments to tackle issues, and it is not uncommon for discussions outside of one's own area of expertise.
Being able to come into contact with a variety of technologies and broaden the scope of knowledge is both a challenge and an attraction unique to quality assurance. In addition, communication with overseas bases, customers, and suppliers will occur, so you can hone not only your technical skills but also your language skills.

In my previous job, I was involved in production technology for the mass production of engine parts. For mass-produced products, we create schedules with short spans of 1 minute and 1 second.
On the other hand, we manufacture products over a long-term span of 2~3 years. I feel that the fact that I have a combination of short-term and long-term perspectives that I acquired in my previous job is one of my strengths.
In my previous job, I also experienced the difficulty of successfully communicating the intention of development to the site.
This experience has helped me in my current quality assurance work. In addition, a lot of experience and knowledge in the field of manufacturing are useful in the field of development.
